I am an Australian artist who has always loved art for as long as I can remember. I have done it all...sculpting, jewellery, mosaic, ceramics etc but have not had the passion with any of them like I do with painting.
I started painting in 2009 and have struggled to put the brush down ever since.
I have finally found 'my style' of painting which has been a fantastic journey of discovery, I have two styles...realistic and characteristic.
My favourite subject matter are people. Whether they be commissions or simply 'just because' I am facinated with the structure of the human face and how to capture a subtle moment of emotion.
My commissions have found forever homes in Canada, England and mainly Australia. I also love to enter the Archibald (no success as yet) and also The Hidden Faces of the Archibald in Victoria. I have entered three times and been a Finalist three times.
I am also involved in the Gippsland Contemporary Art Group which has had two major exhibitions in the last twelve months.
