ARTIST BIO

I am inspired by diverse sources including contemporary works, the impressionists, abstract painters such as Mondrian and the Renaissance classics. I have painted throughout life purely for the love of it while working as a physiotherapist. I have a PhD in Gerontology but am returning to painting as I wind back my professional career. In the past I worked with crayon, pencil, charcoal and oils. I am currently working with acrylics and studying with Ron Reynolds in Templestowe. I live in Nullumbik Shire, an artist\'s haven on the outskirts of Melbourne. I lived in Geelong for 11 years and studied at the Geelong Fine Art School with Patricia Semmler (Milward-Bason) from 1990-1995. I studied at the the Malvern Artists’ Society 1983-84.
