ARTIST BIO

Vilia Radigna is a Gold Coast artist, passionately committed to portraying the natural beauty of our border coastal region. She has always had an affinity for art in its various forms, but as so often happens in life, family, carreer and other commitments have taken precedence.

Over the last five years, however, she has focussed on this passion creating artworks in a number of styles and genres; oils, watercoulour, etchings, mixed media and printmaking.

Enrolment in a Fine Arts Degree has already expanded and enhanced her skills base, opening doors to new horizons.  Vilia\'s Italian heritage is very evident in her expansive and vivacious style with pleasing colour palettes and distinctive mark making.

She finds great fulfilment in the creation of works of beauty, be they land or seascapes, still lifes or portraits, each having its own integrity.

As with all true artists, Vilia has a need to create and she hopes that her audience gains as much pleasure at seeing her art works as she does form creating them.

Artworks by Vilia Radigna can be found hanging in the \"dbar gallery\" at coolangatta. She is new to the Melbourne art scene and was invited to hang for the first time in the St Vincent\'s Art Show 2015, where she sold two of her three paintings on opening night.
