From an early age had a keen interest drawing and developed a great love of art.   I am self taught, attending the occasional workshops etc. and believes there is always more to learn and every painting is a new and exciting challenge in creativity towards improving my skill

After working in pencil and pen and ink for a couple of years I  then began painting in oils in 1976 and continued to paint and do some commissioned work while raising a family

I won  first art prize  in the Rushworth Art Exhibition 1989,   and hung my works at Hill Top Golf Club Tatura during the 1980's.

On leaving the area in 1991, I spent the next twelve years travelling and painting around Australia, expanding to pastels and then watercolours before retiring to Yarrawonga in 2003.  Were my paintings hung and many sold  at Cannings A.R.T.S. in Belmore Street over the next 10 years.
